India - Day 4. It was a long day of travel today - six hours via train from Amritsar to Delhi and then another five hours from Delhi to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. As we arrived at the hotel we were met by fresh fruit vendors, retired armed forces serving as hotel security and then.........an incredible room at The Royal Mughal. Before dinner we visited a marble plant that created all of the marble for the Taj Mahal. Incredible artistry that left you amazed at the detail. I really wanted to bring home a coaster set but at $55,000 CDN I felt that the duty would just have been too much.
