India enters its 67th Independence Day tomorrow. Usually we Indians tend to complain about india, but I would like to share the other side of the story. Being an Indian is not an identity, its a responsibility. It is a responsibility to demonstrate the world can live together against all odds!the story of hope...forever! Its a responsibility I get when my Iraqi neighbors youngest child sleeps to O palanhaare.. A song written for Krishna by Javed akhtar, sung by lata mangeshkar acted by Amir khan! Its a responsibility when Camilla a swede does her yoga and chants her mantras in Sanskrit! When Hlya a Turk, watches 3 idiots the nth time when she feels sad. When Junaid a Pakistani, volunteers himself when I invite guests over a dinner Hamada an Algerian,sings kuch kuch hota hain... And many such examples! Its a responsibility to live up to the concept of Udar charita na tu, vasudhaiva kutumbakam, for a large heart the world is a family! Overall the responsibility is that we dont have the fundamental right to hate anyone! My friends tell me that India influences their life in some way, everyday! All we have to do is keep winning hearts! My two cents! -billionth part of India
