India inspires Myanmar in its anti Rohingya policies in Arakan This is seen from several angles: (1) The persecution of Muslims in Assam and in other parts of India and Indian leaders branding them as being foreigners in India has been going on for decades. Myanmar Buddhists see India as the Buddhist fatherland. It is clear Myanmar only took a lesson from India in its own brand of anti Muslim sentiment in Arakan. This has its historic origin in the Monk Ottama of Arakan who was trained in Calcutta. Afterwards, he led most of the anti Muslim riots in Myanmar. (2) Su Kyi was also trained in India and it appears that she is in disguise is a proxy of India. She describes this in her autobiography. Suu Kyis silence on the Rohingya issue has the stamp of her Indian inspired anti Muslim phobia. (3) There is also the UNs Special Adviser for Myanmar Vijay Nambiar, originally an Indian diplomat often shows sympathy for the Rakhine cause. (4) When the world condemns Myanmar for its continued anti Muslim persecution, Indian Ambassador to the UN, Asoke Mukerji, participating in a meeting of the Partnership Group for Peace, recently called for the discontinuation of a UN General Assembly resolution on the human rights situation in the Southeast Asian country. SHAME ON HIM!
