India on Saturday again accused # Pakistan of violating the ceasefire at the Line-of-Control (LoC) in Held Kashmir Friday night, resulting in heavy exchange of fire between the two sides. Pakistani troops fired 7000 rounds of heavy ammunition and mortar shells for seven hours at Indian posts along the LoC in Poonch district of Indian-Held Kashmir, said an Indian defense ministry spokesman. "Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked firing on several Indian forward posts along LoC in Durga Battalion area in Poonch district around 22:20 hours last night," Defense Spokesman S.N. Acharya told the media. "They fired 7,000 rounds of heavy weaponry Pika ammunition and medium mortars targeting several Indian posts in order to cause heavy causalities till 04:30 hours, said the spokesman. Indian troops also fired 4595 rounds in retaliatory action.
