Indian PM Modi is coming to USA end of September for United Nations General Assembly Session in New York. He will attend a public meeting in Madison Sqaure Garden in New York on Septemeber 28th 2014, Sunday 10 AM. Overseas Friends of BJP Dallas Chapter organized a first of a kind meeting at the recently built huge Surti Leuva Patidar Samaj Community Center near Dallas Fort Worth Hindu Temple in Irving, TX from 7PM - 10PM on August 20th 2014. Vijay Jolly, BJP MP who is also BJP Foreign Cell Convenor addressed the meting in Dallas and requested all the attendees to not only come to New York for the Modi public Meeting but also pass on the message to atleast 5 other families each on a personal note. He said BJP now has overseas divisions in more than 40 countries and that BJP is going to work with all the overseas cells closely in the India development . .. who have also helped bring BJP to power. Raghavendra Singh Rathore, MP from Rajasthan also attended the meet. He said this whole exercise is not just a party affair even though it is OF BJP which is helping plan the PM Public meeting. He said it is about India and ti make Indian PMs visit a grand success. He said he belong to a generation which grew up hating Politics and slowly transiting with the promise Modi brings. Rathore was a silver medal winner in 2004 Athens Olympics winning first Silver for INdia after Independence. He is awarded Arjuna, Rajiv Khel Ratna and Padma Sri. He retired as Colonel in 2013 and joined BJP and became an MP. Mahesh Choppa representing Global Hindu Heritage Foundation and Save Temples Organisation spoke at the event as Prakash Rao Velagapudi was visiting Indianow. Ramnathan of Sanatna Dharma Fundation also spoke. Dinesh Shah, Sushil Patel, many other Dallas leaders and Chandrakanth Patel from Tampa Bay spoke at the event.
