Indiana now has winter storm warnings, winter weather advisories, high wind warnings, wind advisories, wind chill warnings, wind chill advisories and special weather statements all in effect for various parts of the state. This is why we have been concerned all day about this front and have been trying to convey how serious the threat was. Temperatures will now rapidly fall and by the time you wake up will likely be below zero. Strong winds and snow showers will continue to create whiteout conditions and blowing and drifting. With the temperatures dropping comes the threat of a flash freeze (leftover moisture that melted on Sunday rapidly refreezing) on most surfaces overnight.
