Wet Services), Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The DCS Kitchen Upgrades Programme will be implemented throughout the Eastern Cape Province at various DCS facilities: DCS Kitchen Upgrade Programme 2014/15. The Independent Development Trust supports the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) in the implementation of various Infrastructure Programmes both nationally and within the Eastern Cape Province. CIDB Grading No Details Qualifying Criteria Proposal will be evaluated according to IDT Supply Chain Management Policy and prescripts of PPPFA 5 of 2000 will apply. The following criteria will be used to evaluate the Functionality/Technical portions of the proposals for the Professional Service Providers. The Professional Consultant will be evaluated as a single supplier: • Project approach and methodology: 10 points; • Project resource scheduling: 10 points; • Competency and qualification of key personnel: 25 points; • Track record & relevant experience: 35 points; • Traceable and applicable references: 20 points. Only bidders who score above 75% of the Functional/Technical Criteria will be eligible to be evaluated further. Additional Criteria: • The Architectural Consultant must have been involved in at least 1 Local Heritage related consulting engagements within the last 5 years (Relevant Experience); • Each consultant must have a PI of at least R5m. Competitive discounts to be based on the respective gazette of fees applicable. 90/10 points system will apply. In order to be considered for appointment, the following documentation is required and must be attached to the proposal: 1) Company profile; 2) Proof of company registration (CIPRO); 3) Valid Professional registration; 4) Registration of office to relevant institute; 5) Valid professional indemnity insurance (minimum of R5m); 6) Original Valid Tax clearance certificate; 7) Completed IDT Supplier Questionnaire (applicable to service providers who are not registered to IDT Supplier data base); 8) A certified copy of a valid BBBEE status level contributor certificate issued by registered Auditors or a Verification Agency accredited by SANAS. Faxed proposals will not be considered. The IDT reserve the right not to appoint the most favourable tenderer if it is deemed that the tender is over-committed; the policy of fair distribution of work will be applied. Tenders who do not get a positive response from IDT within a period of three (3) months from the closing date should understand that their proposals were unsuccessful.
