Industry and commerce yielded briefly to heritage tourism this afternoon at the Danville terminal of the Norfolk Southern Corp railroad. A steam train excursion by the Tennessee Valley Rail Museum and NS brought 670 passengers to Danville from Ludlow, KY, near Cincinnati. Our visitors flooded through the Centre College campus to downtown Danville to enjoy good food, sweets, and shopping before making the return trip.
