Macedonia: An ancient Greek state in the northern part of the Greek peninsula. Plateau: A plateau or table land is an area of high land consisting of relatively flat terrain. Battle of Panipat: The battle that took place between Babur and the Delhi Sultan Ibrahim Lodi in 1526.The victory of Babur marked the end of the Turko-Afghan Sultanate and the establishment of Mughal rule in India. Aravalli Mountains: This is a range of mountains in western India and eastern Pakistan.
