Info and History of Bromo Mountain. Bromo Mountain came from (Ancient Javanese Language : Brahma, a God of Hindu), is an active volcano and so famous as a tourist object at East Java. As a touris object, Bromo Mountain became famous because of it’s activeness as a volcano. Bromo has it’s height about 2.392 metres on the surface of sea located in four territory, there are Probolinggo, Pasuruan, Lumajang and Malang. Bromo’s shape is a continuity of valleys and cliffs with the caldera or the sea of sand for about 10 kilometres square.
