Information from Melissa Brewer, High School Counselor WALDRON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND PARENTS: Instead of the single night Meet the Teacher you are used to, this year, Waldron High School will be hosting a series of ORIENTATION NIGHTS next week. Parents and students will have the opportunity to visit with teachers, complete appropriate paperwork, and receive information about the 1 to 1 Technology Initiative for the 2014-15 school year. All students will be assigned a Chromebook for use in school purposes. This initiative is a way for the school district to help our students gain experience with technology and better prepare our students for the future. Class schedules will also be available on your assigned night. No schedule changes will be made during the orientation nights. Orientation meetings BEGIN AT 5:00 p.m. with an informational session in the High School Auditorium. Seniors - Monday, August 11th Juniors - Tuesday, August 12th Sophomores - Wednesday, August 13th Freshmen - Thursday, August 14th Sr. High Football Team - Thursday, August 14th If you cannot attend the meeting on your assigned night, you may attend on a different night to receive information about the Chromebooks. However, you will not receive your class schedule until after your assigned orientation night. All schedules not picked up during the orientation will be available in the office on Friday, August 15th.
