Information on Electrical and Computer Engineering Graduate Studies in Chungbuk National University, South Korea Positions for MS or Ph.D international students with full research scholarship Research areas: Mixed Signal Circuits and Wireless Network (Apply for Spring 2014 admissions) Prof. HyungWon Kim, Mixed Signal Integrated System (MSIS) Lab., Dept. of Electronics Eng., Chungbuk National University, Cheongju, South Korea. 1. Qualifications An applicant and his/her parents must have foreign citizenship and come under each of the following: 1) Graduated or is going to graduate from a bachelor’s or master’s program in a foreign country (Dept. of Electronic Eng., Computer Science Eng., Information and Communication Eng., and IT related Eng.) 2) Must have IBT score of 80 (IELTS 6.0) or higher. 3) Must have superior GPA 4) Familiar with digital or analog circuit design, digital Signal Processing or digital communications 5) Familiar with C language or MATLAB, Verilog or VHDL 2. Research Areas 1) Mixed signal SoC design, Analog and digital mixed signal circuit design. 2) Sensor analog front end, sensing data processing, Touch screen/medical sensor Controllers 3) Memristor and mem-elements and their applications in memory, analog and digital systems 2) Wireless sensor networks based on WiFi and Zigbee, and ultra low power wireless mesh network. 3.
