Ingamo Homes was recognized for their work in ending violence against women by Unifor Local 88. The Social Justice Fund donates a total of $100,000 annually to 50 womens shelters and transitional houses across the country in communities where Unifor members live and work. Ingamo Homes was identified by the Unifor 88 activists to be a recipient. Linda Smith, Unifor Local 88 presented Diane Harris, executive director, Ingamo Homes, a donation of $2,000 at the International Womens Day Event on Friday, March 7th.
