Ingrid Neel recently was a finalist in the Girl’s 18 & under division of the prestigious 2014 Orange Bowl. But, to be sure, her star is just beginning to rise. Three years ago, the Neel family and Ingrid’s coach Brian, agreed to allow Ingrid to become a full time student at IMG Academy. She was small in stature, but had the heart of a lion. She had an innate gift for anticipation and an uncanny feel for the ball and in this way reminded me of another of my former students, Martina Hingis. Over time, with focus and determination, she has strengthened her weaknesses and is now one of the best junior players in the world. As I said earlier, her star is just beginning to rise. Keep your eyes on this emerging talent. Congratulations Ingrid!
