Initiated By A Wilderness Trial - - - It is amazing how many great men of God began their ministries in a “wilderness trial.” God removes the hedge of protection, exposing the righteous to merciless opposition or hardship. Yet, they are never destroyed! Jesus encountered Lucifer face to face - the ultimate test. No man ever faced such diabolic temptation. On an empty stomach, his flesh entirely weakened, Jesus nevertheless soundly defeated Satan. Then angels came and refreshed him. - - - Mark 1:13 - “...he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.”
