They also complained that the courts deny them bonds for petty cases, and were demanding audience with the CJ. When he visited Kisumu earlier in the week, CJ Willy Mutunga admitted that Kenya’s criminal justice is itself ‘criminal’, pledging to push on with the judicial transformation process.
