Inme updates - April 18 - update 1 --------------------------------------------------- Coorg (C2), Yercaud (Y1) (Press see more for entire update) C2 update ------------ Nice sunny morning and the children have changed their activity. They will now do the second activity chosen by them and will begin with the basics. The Bikers start with learning about the cycle, handling gears, learning braking techniques, safety briefing and will then move on to the obstacle course. The rock climbers start with introduction to equipment, learning different types of hand and foot holds and will move onto bouldering. The ropes course group will hit the low ropes course after safety briefing. The Wilderness crafters will leave for a trek and learn principles of leave no trace camping and mountain manners. All children to return to camp by lunch time. Last night, we took them for a silent walk. The children had a fabulous time and were thrilled to hear sounds of nature. They walked through clouds and saw hundreds of fireflies light up the place! It was a unique experience and something the children will remember forever! :) Y1 Update ------------ Last few hours on camp. The children had an appreciation and feedback session. They will have an early lunch and leave camp by 12 pm. The program has been a success and the children have been asking us to extend camp or to stay on for more time :) Prepare to hear lots of exciting stories about their experiences! _________________________________________________
