Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun. To Allah we belong, and to Him we return. Our dear grandmother (my moms mom) has returned to her Lord. She was a model of righteousness and an inspiration to her 14 children, 80 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. We will miss her dearly, but we are comforted by the knowledge that she was well-prepared for her return to her Lord, and that what awaits her in the next life is far better than the full and accomplished 89 years she spent in this life. May Allah forgive her, have mercy on her, make her grave spacious, and grant her Jannatul Firdaws. Janaza prayer will be at Islamic Foundation following Dhuhr prayer (Sunday, Oct 12 - 1:45 pm). Please keep her in your prayers.
