Innova, California Natural, Evo, and Healthwise Dry Food Recall Due to a Possible Health Risk Natura Pet Foods, the manufacturer of Innova, California Natural, Evo, and Healthwise, has issued a recall on all formulas and sizes of their dry foods and treats with expiration dates prior to June 10, 2014 due to possible Salmonella contamination. There have been no reports of pet or human illness associated with this product. Salmonella can affect both animals and humans. Pets with Salmonella infections may be lethargic, have diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever, vomiting, decreased appetite and/or abdominal pain.
