Innovation The Topic of Davis Downtown Meeting Davis Downtown invites local businesses and community members to the June 26th Davis Downtown Brown-Bag to meet Rob White, Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) for the City of Davis. Rob’s role as CIO is to be an advocate for economic development in the City of Davis and foster a business environment which supports local business interests and growth of innovation/technology companies. This lunchtime forum will give Downtown business owners and community members an opportunity to talk with Rob about his role in the community, his first three months on the job, and what is in store for the future of Davis. The Davis Downtown Brown-Bag meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the River City Bank conference room, 239 E Street, in Downtown Davis. Organized by Davis Downtown’s Visioning and Community Relations Committee, the brown-bag lunch series facilitates thought-provoking dialog regarding issues affecting Downtown Davis in a casual setting.
