Dear Friends, Since March 2012 I am fighting against an aggressive brain tumor, with the support of my family, friends and colleagues. From that moment on, everything has changed. I live intensively each single moment and every new day is a gift. Being very active in sports, mainly tennis and running have been fundamental for me. Running in my beautiful city (Bergamo) and playing tennis reenergize me. It helps me to fight the tumor. This year my challenge is to participate the New York City Marathon. I will run with a t-shirt printed with a sensible message, underlining the importance of research on this kind of tumor, on which long term survival statistics are very slim. My positive recovery is a very clear example that research can save lives. I hope research will grow further. To make this happen financial investments are mandatory! Would you like to help? Shall we together take up this challenge? If I will reach the end of the NYCM, we could donate 10 Euro to “Fondazione per la Ricerca Biomedica-onlus” in Torino (Italy). If I end the marathon in less than 4 hours we could offer 15 Euros. Of course, if you wish to offer something more, it will be more than appreciated. Deal?
