Inquiries are continuing after a car hit a house in south-western Sydney today (Thursday 23 January 2014). About 12.15am a Holden Cruze, bearing P-plates, was travelling south on Duardo Street at Edensor Park. The car has left the road and hit an electricity pole. As a result of that impact the car has dragged the pole into the front yard of a house. The sedan then hit the front corner of the house, coming to rest in the master bedroom. The bedroom was unoccupied at the time and the four occupants were not injured. The 21-year-old male driver sustained a head wound as a result of the crash. He was taken to Liverpool Hospital for further medical checks and mandatory testing. Police are urging anyone with information about this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page: https://police.nsw.gov.au/. Information you provide will be treated in the strictest of confidence. We remind people they should not report crime information via our Facebook and Twitter pages.
