Inquiry: I have five teaching days left in this semester. I decided to focus on music for this last week or so. Ive covered Jazz and the Blues (from Delta to Chicago.) I want to spend time today covering early Rock n Roll. Should I continue with that, touching on Motown, and covering everything through British Invasion to present and the path to modern hip hop? OR should I spend more time covering early Rock, stopping at British Invasion, and finishing with Standing in the Shadows of Motown. Rock and hip hop are easily traceable from those points.
