Insane ice bucket challenge on a horse Animal welfare charity Animal Aid and Pamela Anderson have asked those considering doing the ice bucket challenge to look into the unnecessary animal testing carried out by the charity, ALS, before donating. I dont know about the charitys vivisection policy, but it is great to see people raising awareness about animal testing. But it now looks like people think their pets should get involved in the challenge - Ive seen several films of ice bucket challenges with people including their animals. Horse owners have been doing the challenge on horseback and dog owners with their dogs - one guy has forced his dogs head into a bucket of ice water. The girl in the link below definitely deserved to fall off - her horse did not deserve to be shocked for no reason. Has the world gone mad? Im all for donating to charity and raising awareness for good causes but it seems the challenge has completely overtaken the message.
