Insert 20 Tsego quickly rushed to where I was, he tried waking dad up but he too failed. I looked at him Me: Tsego! I want my dad! Its all your fault! I told you youd disappoint but no you didnt listen, you never listen look what it has costed you, us? Tsego: Lee please, not now- he was running up and down, at least he managed to do one thing right, get rid of the visitors. He made a few calls, while I was loosing my mind, helplessly trying to wake him up. Me: Tsego, I cant loose him Tsego: you wont, now stop talking like that Me: How do you do it huh? Be all calm while our dad is fighting for his life? Thats if his still alive. Tsego: Dont you dare! I love him too, his my father too and I care about him. Yes its my fault but moaning and crying wont wake him up! Unlike you, Ive got my emotions intact.- I went over to where he was and slapped him across his face Me: Dont you dare! You dont- he was ready to slap me back, his face was full of veins. I shut my eyes getting ready for that smack of my lifetime, I opened them wondering whats taking him so long. Just then someone was holding his hand. Him: You dont slap a woman, no matter how much anger she inflicted in you. Whether shes your sister, mother or your girlfriend you have no right! Now lets get your father to the hospital and we will continue with this lecture later on- I looked at the stranger, trying to figure out what he was? What he was doing at my house and where did he come from to save my skin? I noticed he wasnt wearing uniform to ensure that his a paramedic. But why? Because right now we needed one and not some ordinary guy who probably doesnt have a car. I decided to take this time to examine him, he was taller than my brother, a bit lighter but ugly what a waste of complexion :-/ I snapped out of my thoughts and realized my dad was no longer in that couch Me: Tsego wait! Im coming with you Tsego: I dont want you near me Me: Dont flatter yourself, Im only coming because of my dad and not you. I quickly went to pack a few things for my dad and we went to the hospital. I was surprised to see that this stranger was a guy who had one of those classic BMWs. I guess I judged him too soon. We were on our way to the hospital. Before he stopped the car, I threw myself out of the car and rushed to the hospital door, Me: Help, we need help, my father, please- I said running short of breath but at least they got the message. They were pushing a bed and met Tsego and that stranger half way carrying my father. They put him on that bed while they asked what happened, we told them as we ran towards the emergency room Doctor: Sorry, well take it from here- he assigned a nurse to show us the waiting room. I was crying my lungs out, Dear God if youre listening, I need you now more than ever! Please dont take away my dad, Im still young. Tsego: Sis, Im sorry, I should have never raised my voice nor hand on you. I was angry but thats no excuse, Im sorry- he said disturbing me and looking remorseful but I couldnt careless Me: I just want my dad back Tsego: Please dont shut me out, I need you and you need me. We need each other now more than ever! I looked at him and walked out its because of you that were in this place, because of you dad is laying in that hospital bed, its all his fault! I was in deep thoughts while I was walking, well more like running. It was dark, I felt someone slapping me, I heard voices from a distance Person: Lisanda, Lisanda not you too please- I tried opening my eyes but they were heavy. So I involuntarily shut them deeper, just then all was blank. I opened my eyes feeling a grip on my hand, he lifted his face up looking rather shocked to see me. I moved my hand trying to face him, Me: ouch! - I whispered Tsego: youre awake!- my mouth was dry Me: vat- Tsego: what? - He said leaning over Me: water- he drifted of to my side to take the glass of water next to my bed. It had a straw, Tsego: Wait!- he rushed out of my room and came back within a second, with a group of people, they came to my bed surrounding me. They were wearing star white, they looked like doctors. Doctor: Morning Ms Khumalo, Im doctor Smith, welcome back and these here are my colleagues. I rolled my eyes at all directions trying to figure out what I was doing here and why cant I feel my body? Me: I cant feel my body, I cant move! Doctor Smith: I need you to relax, Miss Khumalo. Me: Where am I and whats wrong with me? Doctor Smith: youre in hospital and you- Me: Hospital?- I started having flash backs Me: My dad, wheres my dad?- my heart was beating out of my chest, my body was vibrating Nurse: calm down Doctor: Sir please excuse us.- all this while I kept on starring at Tsego Me: Tsego, whats going on? Wheres my dad? Tsego? Nurse: Sir you need to leave now! - She said throwing him out, tears escaped out of his face as I was being attacked by those doctors, she injected my drip and I screamed in pain. I felt dizzy, the number of people in the room was doubled, my eyes were heavy. I didnt want to sleep, I was tired of sleeping. I was fighting, I kept hearing voices, just before all went blank I heard a scream Lisanda, please come back. Please suddenly all was blank, no thousand doctors in my room, no screams and definitely no irritating beeping machines #Peace
