Max:This is a promise ring.I bought it when Jaden was buying an engagement ring.The moment I saw it I thought about you.I know its not a billion dollar ring but to me it means a lot. Me:But Max its too soon. Max:I know,I just want you to promise to love me and be mine.Buhle this isnt a joke. Me:Well owk(I was so happy this felt like a brand new journey.) Max:Yes!(Jumps up and puts the ring on).He picked me up.Wow this must of been the best day ever.I mean there were no guns,No Thulani.This life was so normal.We took a whole lot of pictures and left. He dropped me off at home. But we sat a while In the car. Max:Buhle The happiness I felt today is something Iv never ever felt. Me:Max dear,You better not even attempt to break my heart.Or I might as well kill you. Max:I wont(Loughes)But you dont even have the heart to kill. We talked and talked then I went inside the house.It was so silent.I took of the dress,took a bath then went to bed.I still couldnt believe I was wearing Maxs promise ring.Its too soon but camon you gotta make every moment worth while expecially with the ones you love.Dont be saying its too early,they might wake up dead tomorrow. I eventually fell asleep.Sunday was a family day for us My family was getting back to normal and I was enjoying every moment of this. (Monday) I got to school and the first person I bumped into was K. Him:Yoh...Where on Earth!!..Wow girl whov got style,such a nice ring.(Lifting up my hand) Max spoke from behind him. K:Hel never love you Like I do(He walked away) I honestly dont understand why his acting like this I mean like really.The school day went on and I decided to ditch Thulani after school.I walked half way home.On my way Home I could feel that someone is behind me.But when I looked back there was no one.I looked back quickly then I saw a girl maby 12years of age.She looked scared.I took out a R5 coin and told her to catch she took it. Me:Look you dont have to rob people just ask. Her:Thanks(Catches the coin.) Me:So are you just gonna go and not talk to me? Her:Your not scared Ill rob you. Me:Wow youd rob someone who gives instead of keeping,how cruel. Her: (She smiled) She came closer I was a bit scared but anyway there was something about this girl.Her english was so lovely,She looked so pretty,I asked myself how she ended up here on the streets. Me:So where do you live.? Her:At MaSugarz Me:Yoh..Wheres that? Her:A house not far from here. Me: Do you smoke? Her:No.. Me:Why aint you at school? Her:Cuz I dont feel like it. Me:Wow lucky you.So are they treating you well at Masugarz? Her:Ill survive (I saw a bruise on her arm.Damn she was also cut on her leg) I took out my lunch and we ate wow Iv never really met a streetkid whos so down too Earth.This girl aint from here she probably ran away from home or something.I told her I have to go then I left.I gave her some of the coins I had.Phela I aint just gon eat at night knowing that I met someone who might be starving to death.She kept telling me am so kind.Wow what a great day I had with her.I didnt even get her name. I got home and changed I had no homework so I went ouside the gate hoping that Thulani would come.He actually did. Thulani:Get in the car. Me:Fine(I got in) Thulani:Look Buhle this is eating me up inside I cant take it no more. Me:Take what.? Thulani:I have a lot going on in my life.. Me:Whats wrong T camon talk(I looked in his eyes) Thulani:Shes gone Bu(Teary eyes)Shes gone... Me:Whos gone??Thulani whats going on here(I was now scared) Thulani:My babysisters missing..Buhle what am I gonna tell my family.I know I did some terrible things but why her.(Tears rolled down his cheecks.) Me:Thulani am so sorry..I wish I could help you find her. Thulani:Am getting whats dished out for me,Bu my sins are finally catching up with me. I really felt sorry for Thulani.I mean the heart-ach he was feeling just made me soo deeply sad.He doesnt deserve this.But KARMA is verry cruel sometimes he kept saying thoe words like he really knew what was coming ahead.
