Insert 57 DAY 1: We had to settle and take out luggage to our dorms. We settle and everything was splendid. I got to know Ashleen more. Since we were going to be roommates for a full week. We got all personal. Others were sad and others exciting, actually let me rephrase she got all personal and I just said general things. About me and my Brother having no relationship at all. The day went and walla it was the next day. DAY2, DAY3,DAY4,DAY5 went super quick, we woke up 7am did exercise till 9 am. 10am was breakfast and bible studies. 12am was learning about the importance of leadership in the Youth. Youth leadership is important in todays society because we youth have a wild imagination. And that imagination can help the world in very good ways. Also, we kids can start programs that benefit other kids, like the hungry children overseas. Or, the kids with illnesses in the hospital. Sometimes I think about cool names for programs like kids help kids or kids work to save or kids are fighting or kids can do this kids this, kids that. We as the youth we are very important in the community because we help to be an influence on the younger children. We also can show positive actions to our peers. Youth can help keep the community alive for many generations to come. Another significant thing of being a youth leader is to do and show positive things in our daily activities, as well as in the community, which will allow other youth to take notice and be followed by example. We could be a great influence to your friends because everyone that you hand out with are not perfect and have been in some type of trouble, so if you guide them through a path of positive things then maybe they will not get into a lot of trouble and do more positive things. If you have a younger sister or brother then you could make sure that they dont hang out around the wrong crowd or dont get caught up into gang related or violent actions. Another reason for being a youth leader is to help your community and make it a better place to live. A way you could do that is to pick up trash that you usually walk by. That would be a good influence, so others can follow and do the same. If you just ignore your surroundings then so will the other people observing you. You may not know it but everyone pays attention to the youth of today, even the elders. Youth leadership will guide you to be a leader and not a follower. So basically the camp was about that and the message went through especially to the prefects I even saw some of them writing notes which was a great thing cause I also learn something from that. Which you will see as the diary goes on in other inserts. DaY6:Was thee day every grade 7 was waiting for the day of the play, where the class reps had to do the play I was chilled AF. I woke up that morning went to take a shower. On my way to the showers I bump to to Mr Edros. Mr Edros: owh look at you Is this how you look when you wake up? Me: No. I reply passing. Him: if I had to see you before I went to sleep at night, Id have the worst nightmare ever. There were girls behind us and they laughed their asses off. Me: Well Ill still have one with that face of yours. He laughed and we both laughed so did the girls. The relationship I had with this guy was too normal. I went to the showers, showered. I wore my velvet ginger mary track suit. It was orange in colour with my pink Taylor Chucks. Ashleen: I like your style. Me: I like you. I like her so much she was so nice and she used to stop me when I always laugh at Lindelwas accent it was just too wrong, and as my friend shes accepted it. She does not mind at all. We had breakfast. This day was slightly different from the other days. We were not woken up by a whitsle so yheaaaa! The day went quick and in no time we were at the main wall and it was late. And the show had to began. Me and Litha had agreed that at the kissing part well kiss on the cheek. He respected my feelings which was good enough. Michelle and Dave were up first. This is when I began to panic. I started shaking and Litha kept looking at me and Ill just say Im fine . It start to be really cold in that wall and I was shivering. Uzoba right marn he whispered. The next thing I hear Lilitha and Onesimo you up. I breath in and out. Silently. Im at the stage I cant see anyone. Im dressed up in a school uniform as our costumes cause we were being creating wanted the whole thing to seem real. Im starting to get a little comfortable as we blend. Litha: Iza apha come this way let me show me my secrete place. Me: More secretes Litha. I say giving a shy smile. Litha: Here we are broken sports equipment no body ever comes here. Me: but I dont understand how did you get the key. Litha: Simple I had to do something for goofy old goofy, so I just memorized the number of the key he gave me. And then I got the same key from the locksmith for five bucks joe Easy CHEeSY! The hall giggled. Looks like doing the right thing here. I smile at the thought of that.
