InshaAllah I have escaped the madness and falseness of Xmas. How - TopicsExpress

InshaAllah I have escaped the madness and falseness of Xmas. How can anyone want to celebrate something that isnt true? I mean as a Muslim I really love Jesus too, but I dont want to celebrate his or anyone elses birthday, especially when Xmas has nothing to do with his birthday in reality anyway, Xmas is just a pagan festival and has no connection with Jesus. But by all means, continue to love Jesus for Jesus was a truly great Prophet and son of Mary. Where does it say in the Bible to celebrate his birthday? Why do you celebrate his birthday on 25th December? That is the day Saturnalia celebrated the winter Solstice. So Xmas traditions are all connected to Saturnalia and Pagan festivals of sun worship, If a Muslim celebrates Xmas it is shirk (idolatory) and shirk in Islam is one of the biggest sins which can never be forgiven. So Muslims, please do not celebrate Xmas. It is not our festival, neither is new year. Muslims have the Islamic new year.
