Insider Secrets To Making Money With Storage Auctions I have a friend who runs a local self-storage business. He lets me know when he has a few units that have been abandoned and that he needs to clear out... and asks me how much Id pay for the contents. I dont know if youve seen the television series Storage Wars, but he saves me the trouble of having to bid against anyone! Its nice to know people like him. I feel sorry for the people who abandoned their property, but since its going to be auctioned off... or otherwise disposed of anyone, I dont feel guilty buying some of it. I turn around and resell the stuff in several places.
