Inspirational post muna. Nung pumasok ako ng iAC when I was 1st year college, halos ban00b ako sa drawing. Yes, may hilig na ako way back, pero compared sa mga iba from the same batch, no match ako. The professors intimidated me, not because of how they acted sa class, pero dahil mas awesome sila magdrawing or magpaint! I really looked down on myself. Pero that never stopped me from doing better. Kahit pangit ang foreshortening, kahit mali ang haba ng arms, kahit mukhang sausages ang daliri ng hands, I kept drawing. I looked at references from time to time. Siyempre, kailangan din ng inspiration, kaya tinadtad ko ng tutorial at artworks yung Favorites ko sa deviantArt. Now, I look back at my past drawings, at matatawa na lang ako dahil I couldnt believe na ganun pala ako magdrawing dati, and that I used to think negatively kasi halos wala pa akong skills sa drawing. Sure, marami pa akong kakaining NFA rice para ma-tier ang mga awesome professors at role models ko (mainly but not limited to Sir Elmer, Sir Basa, Sir Hornedo, Maam Weena, Maam Tammy, Arnold Arre, at pati na rin si Walt Disney), pero thats not gonna stop me from reaching my goals. Sa mga freshies at lower batch diyan, kasisimula pa lang ng journey niyo sa iACADEMY. Never let go of your goals. I assure you, youll look back and laugh at yourself for thinking youll never make it that far. Stick to the fight with your hardest hit. Its when things seem worst that you must not quit.
