Inspired Witness Acts 1:1-11 You shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. —Acts 1:8 Years ago, I was attending a conference with Reinhard Bonke. People were called forward for prayer. Reinhards prayer leader purposely walked over to me and told me God had spoke to him and gave him a vision concerning me God will take you to many peoples from all over the world. I was stunned. At that time in my life I had been no further than that conference in Germany. But just as Mary did, I hid it in my heart and was encouraged. I never forgot those inspired words and they were the beginning of a worldwide journey with the Lord and now even at the age of 70 God is bringing people to me as International students and via GMO media outreach. Jesus challenged His disciples—and us—to tell others about the love of God: “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). Through the Holy Spirit our words and witness can have the power to make an eternal difference in the lives of others. I love to tell the story of unseen things above, Of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love, I love to tell the story, because I know ’tis true; It satisfies my longings as nothing else can do. —Hankey An inspired word can accomplish more than we could ever imagine.
