Instead of criticizing and blaming somebody maybe its just a good time to reflect....THE PHILIPPINES NEEDS JESUS! We lack organize rescue and relief effort coz our country(filipinos) in general is living a corrupt way of life that equates to poverty....we dont have the funds as well and the instinct to help others! Corruption is not just with the president down to the barangay officials, it is within the FILIPINO PEOPLE in general; IT HAS BECOME A PART OF OUR CULTURE!! I found this out as the grace of God led me to take a peek on the government system last election. How many of the netizens are fast to criticize and yet slow to give even 5php for the Yolanda victims? If the 80million filipinos will sacrifice one meal worth 20php for the victims of Yolanda, thats 1.6billion!! I know you watch TV and you see the pinoy based foundations especially those covered by the media helping.. But then how about the majority of Filipinos? Majority are numb and havent even given even 5php!! The CNN reporter is correct; he is like saying we are the worst people in the world whom he has been deployed to cover disasters!! It sad but it is true! THIS COUNTRY HAS NO HOPE OTHER THAN JESUS!!!! What we need is a heart transformation thus lead to righteous world view! What we need is a genuine encounter with the Son of God thus transform our hearts and minds miraculously to be able to live a life for His purpose and glory! Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.-Romans 12:2
