Instead of drawing Mr Gandhi out, Mr Goswami demonstrated that he was not able to grow beyond the hectoring tone he has adopted for his popular primetime show NewsHour. Mr Gandhi fumbled but at least he appeared human at times. But despite that, we learnt almost nothing about him. In fact, at one point, Mr Gandhi even accused Mr Goswami of being superficial. And that, surely, is the “most unkindest cut of all”, as Shakespeare’s Mark Antony said after Caesar’s assassination. The man who you are bullying does not think you are serious enough!
