Instead of dumping a bucket of ice cold water over my head, and not donating to any charity on purpose (citing the recent Facebook trend), I will be performing a recital of music written by women composers to raise money for a domestic violence shelter in Chicago. This cause is very important to me for personal reasons. The recital will be taking place later in the year, early next year at the latest. Waiting to compare my work and school schedules.
