Instead of our regular Floppy cartoons, weve been posting clips from The Bugs Bunny Show and other shows from the 1960s & 70s which aired Warner Bros. & MGM cartoons. The Road Runner Show was an anthology TV series which compiled theatrical Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoons produced by Warner Bros. between 1948 and 1966. It also aired eleven Road Runner/Coyote shorts produced by Format Productions (previously Format Films) between 1965 & 1967, after Warner Bros. closed their animation studio. The Road Runner Show ran for two seasons on CBS (1966–68), and then on ABC for two seasons (1971–73). There were two Runner/Coyote cartoons during each episode, with another Warner Bros. cartoon in the middle (usually Tweety and Sylvester). The theme song was written and performed by Barbara Cameron, who also wrote and performed the theme song to The Porky Pig Show.
