Instead of providing more info, Govt seems to restrict information flow. The Group of Ministers on Media has decided to curtail the live telecast of election speeches from December 2013 to May 2014 to just 30 minutes. This is being seen as a desperate attempt by the UPA government to ensure that television news channels do not get to telecast Narendra Modis over-an-hour long speeches that are creating ripples. The GoM comprises P. Chidambaram, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Kamal Nath, Kapil Sibal, Salman Khurshid, Manish Tewari and V. Narayanasamy. - This smart GOM is going to bifurcate AP. Just disgusts me.
