Institutions are not set up or designed for individual experiences. Institutions treat the masses and allow very little leeway for individuality.....so when it comes to birth the change we want must start with the mother wanting to own the experience for her baby and herself. So true! Not saying that there is anything wrong with a hospital birth, I just feel they need to allow more women to birth the way they need to, and nature intended! :)
