Insurance Claim Underpaid? Maybe even Denied? Abilene, Texas.... Funny, we posted this the other day and Mrs. Hopkins called last Friday. Almost five years to the day! She had been admitted to the hospital, spent over a month in cardio-rehab, and came home to a huge water leak. She contacted her insurance company.........they stated they would pay her for getting down on her hands and knees and using bleach to attempt and kill the mold that had grown from the leak, (Mrs. Hopkins is now 86!)but there was not enough damage to cover $1,500.00 deductible, meaning $0.00 payment. Bull crap. We dispatched adjusters this morning. Will bet they end up paying for more than her time... We only make them pay what is owed, nothing more, and nothing less!
