Intelligence Subject Matter Expert-Level II Position Number: SSTI-A-001-81 Number of Positions: 3 Location: Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX Hiring Manager: Stockley Task Description/Responsibilities: The Intelligence Subject Matter Expert-Level II shall provide the expertise to thoroughly research, study, and present information in an effective manner and in accordance with accepted practices. Provide advice in the application of information from the National Security Strategy, National Military Strategy, Global Employment of the Force, operation plans (OPLANs) and operation orders (OPORDs), warning orders (WARNORDs) and fragmentary orders (FRAGORDs), situation reports (SITREPs) and other operational reporting. Research, analyze, identify, evaluate and catalog potential intelligence and information sources supporting JIOWC/Joint Staff and CCMD IO efforts Support maintenance of current situational awareness and intelligence (including open source intelligence) reports that affect National, CCMD, and JIOWC operational efforts based on Commander’s Critical Information Requirements (CCIR). Provide IOII expertise and recommendations to capture intelligence functions supporting IO in the development of applicable national doctrine and policy Establish an information environment baseline for designated countries and global issues. Assist in the development and maintenance of JIOWC/Joint Staff or CCMD specific IO intelligence requirements and databases. Perform information environment focused joint intelligence preparation of the operational environment (JIPOE) to support JIOWC/Joint Staff or CCMD IO planning requirements and develop tasks and suspenses for completing this analysis. Provide IOII white cell support and mentorship for key exercises. Provide recommendations to codify and enhance the IOII education and training program Apply human influence techniques, tactics, and procedures to produce support folders, with actionable information Minimum Qualifications: Education: B.S or BA degree in a related intelligence or technical field, or equivalent experience in an intelligence career field may be substituted in lieu of a degree.. Experience: Qualified Candidates shall possess a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in military intelligence, ranging from the tactical to strategic level in single service and also a joint/multi-national intelligence operations staff environment. Must have demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and expertise in National Level Collection Management in multiple intelligence disciplines, i.e., HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and IMINT. Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and expertise in at least two (2) of the following standard intelligence automation applications (TAC, CRATE, COLISEUM, INTELINK, A-SPACE, AMHS, M3 Message Handling System, GCCS or C2PC, JWICS, SIPRNET). Additional Requirements: Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills Must have excellent technical writing skills. Must be a US Citizen Security Clearance: Must Possess a Current DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance. May also require a Full Scope/Life Style Poly.
