Intense storms marching across Ohio Valley right now and will continue into Southwest Pennsylvania and West Virginia through the night. Stay alert in these areas. Tornadoes are possible. Impressive front set up with low 80s temps and low 70 dewpoints around Columbus, but northwest Pa temperatures are in the 60s with dewpoints in the mid 60s. Storms reach other side of the boundary and weaken. Change in the models tonight with strong system in the Northwest arrives early next week moves out into the Rockies and sends heat into the mid Mississippi Valley Wednesday and Thursday, Ohio and Tennessee Valleys Thursday and Friday. However, the difference is the wetness of the soil right now which hold back widespread 90 degree readings in the Ohio Valley and Appalachians. But it does look quite warm to hot early next weekend for this region.
