Intercession of the prophets. Common misconception in Islam and - TopicsExpress

Intercession of the prophets. Common misconception in Islam and Christianity is that their prophets will stand before God on the day of judgement and basically intercede with God for anyone who labeled themselves Christian or Muslim. What they are basically saying is deeds do not matter. All you have to do is belong to our club and you are saved. This stupid myth originated from the scholars of the respective religions and is based on hearsay and invented policies as recorded in the books of Hadith for Islam and teachings of Paul in the Bible for Christianity. I dont know how this stupid myth got accepted by so many people, especially in the early days, but I can see why people would believe it - nobody wants to live with a guilty conscience. We tend to believe what we want to believe. Most people do not prefer the truth, instead they prefer something that will make them feel better about themselves and where they are going. They want to hear something that will give them hope for salvation. It happens to all of us when we get tempted, when we really want to do something that we know is wrong we will gladly accept any lie that allows us to do it and still feel good about ourselves. That is why many times people prefer absolute lies over the truth, even if it is a blatant lie as in this case. This is why the deception works so well. If a person chooses to believe that the prophets will stand there and be advocates on the behalf of the wicked and treacherous who never repented and changed, that they will say O God forgive this follower of mine even though he/she continued to do all the things I told them were forbidden, then there is nothing I can do about that. This is why we have freedom of choice. All I can do is try to provide the correct information and a frame of reference in hopes to make it clear that to follow someone means to actually doing what they say. Imagine that your father owns a business and you have a friend that needs a job. So you get him a job but now he keeps stealing. Your father suspects someone is stealing so you tell your friend about it and how unacceptable is is but he keeps stealing anyway. Eventually your father has him on camera stealing numerous times and calls you both to the office. Will you stand there and say this person was MY FOLLOWER so forgive him and now let him live in our house too or will you say this person is a thief, he betrayed my trust and he is not of me? This is a frame of reference that should help understand what will happen on judgment day. The prophets will not be witnesses FOR the wrongdoers, the will be witnesses AGAINST them. Matter of fact prophet Muhammad is forbidden to speak on behalf of the treacherous. Allah commands him in the Quran: Surely We have revealed the Book to you with the truth that you may judge between people by means of that which Allah has taught you; AND DO NOT BE AN ADVOCATE ON BEHALF OF THE TREACHEROUS. And ask forgiveness of Allah; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. And DO NOT PLEAD ON BEHALF OF THOSE WHO ACT UNFAITHFULLY TO THEIR SOULS; surely Allah does not love him who is treacherous, sinful. -- Quran 4:105-107 So do you really think he will be the advocate of those who continued to do what is wrong in the sight of God? Or do you think that the Messiah, son of Mary, will bear witness for the wrong doers even after he specifically informed the people of the following: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ -- Gospel according to Matthew 7:21-23 No, such people are heading to hell unless they change. Unfortunately, we have the WHOLE WORLD believing these false doctrines. We have whole religions based on lies. Our supposed holy men are selling false hope and with it assigning people to eternal fire. Just says they have always done. “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are. -- Gospel according to Matthew 23:15 Labels Muslim and Christian are supposed to describe certain behaviors, not simply belonging to an organization (although we were all taught otherwise). Because of this lack of understanding religion has caused more pain and suffering in the world than anything else. There is an absolute need for these false doctrines however. This is why they exist. Those who wish to rule in this world need evil to be done in order to secure their power. They need people for this job; and there is no better way to get people to do evil then to sell lies to those who prefer to hear them anyway. In the end not only do we end up getting used in this world but damned in the next as well. This is because WE CHOOSE to believe the lies. It is our CHOICE. It will always be easier to believe that we will be forgiven no matter what than to do the right thing. I am not trying to accomplish anything with this. I am not trying to convert anyone not do I believe that I have power to change anyone. This is what I see so I took the time to write it. Peace.
