Interested in getting involved with research over the summer Apply for the Maryland Summer Scholars Program for Summer 2015! The Maryland Summer Scholars Program allows undergraduates to spend the summer working closely with faculty mentors on research or artistic projects. The research may take place in College Park, anywhere in the US, or abroad as required by the nature of the project. The program provides a $3,000 stipend (if your research requires travel outside of the College Park area, you may apply for a supplementary travel award for up to $1,000). ELIGIBILITY: Must have completed at least 2 full semesters (30 credits) by the end of Spring 2015; Must have at least a 3.4 GPA at the time of application; Must be enrolled at UMD for Fall 2015; All academic majors are eligible.
