Interesting - I remember thinking Roe v Wade made sense, but I didnt have time (I was raising 2 toddlers then) to pay a lot of attention to it. I shudder to think of all the hate generated since by a movement citing Roe v Wade, something that was relatively ho-hum when it happened. As in, considered mostly a Catholic issue by a Religious Right that didnt want to mess much with church and state. Make up your minds, people!!
