Jinnahs dad migrated to Karachi for business, where Jinnah was born. 2.Jinnahs family, as also his first wife (who died), belonged to the Paneli village in the princely state of Gondal in Kathiawar. 3. Jinnahs second wife was a Parsi. His only child Dina, raised as a Muslim, fell in love with a Parsi & married against Jinnahs wish. 4. Dina, interestingly, was born shortly after 12am of August 15, 1919 - time/date had quite a significance in Jinnahs life. 5. Dinas husband was Neville Wadia, of the famous Wadia family. Their son - Nusli Wadia and grandsons, Ness & Jehangir Wadia. 6. I.I.Chundrigar, the interim PM of Pakistan in 1957, and Minister for Trade/Commerce in the 1st cabinet of Pak, was an Amdavadi. 7. King of Junagadh, who wanted to accede to Pak, mainly due to advice of his Deewan - Shah Nawaz Bhutto - Benazir Bhuttos granddad.
