Interesting. This article strikes a chord with me as someone who freaks out at the idea of being 5 minutes late. In fact, I was late today as I got lost on the way to a team run. . And that upsets me. The group left without me. I dont blame them. :-) But I also appreciate that in many parts of the world, appearing to rush is considered rude, while being late is not. In fact, in many regions, the concept of time is very different than it is in Canada. I have worked in parts of the world where relationship is held in the highest regard, and interrupting a conversation to say Im sorry, but I have another meeting in five minutes would be considered the height of rudeness. So Im torn. And Id love to hear your thoughts.
