Interesting, a few weeks ago when the Israel government was getting bad reputation online, all of a sudden, magically videos of Muslims beheading people emerged on Facebook. When people were getting turned off and not responding to the advertising beside those videos, the bucket challenge came along magically to make everyone happy. Some people are like sheep, following each other without having their own thoughts. We should be donating at all times, to causes we personally believe in and that we research. Not just because its the cool thing to do for today. ALS is an amazing cause, but please do your research and also donate to local charities that have no, or very low overhead that are driven by dedicated volunteers. ALS foundation CEOs salary is $340,000, their CFO makes $201,000, Their marketing officer makes $143,000. I wonder how little they pay the researchers. Please donate to as many charities as you can, but do it because you believe in it, and it helps your community. Not because its todays trend on Facebook or todays hashtag on twitter.
