Interesting adventure just now. It was like wheres Waldo, but it was wheres Maria? She called saying she had a flat and was on 395N. Ok where on 395? Maria: I dont know, I will text you the pin on a map. Me: Ok. So I get the pin and put it in my GPS, go there...no Maria. It is a road that runs parallel to 395. Get back on 395N and run into dead end traffic thanks to the Marine Corp Marathon. I wont bore you, but had to go all around hell to finally find her. When I arrive a very nice police officer has stopped and has the lug nuts off, but he cant get the tire off. He tells me there is a lock bolt. I look and there is no lock bolt, but he is convinced the pin in the middle is a lock. I try to explain it isnt. He says he tried and cant budge the tire. I tell him the car isnt jacked up enough and the car weight is holding the tire on. He is debating me while I grab my 2 ton jack out of my car to jack her car up higher. He is saying we need to call a tow truck because we are in a dangerous spot and the tire isnt going to come off without a special tool to take off this mythical lock. I say no we dont I got this. I jack the car up so the tire is no longer on the ground, I sit facing the tire and give it a good kick. Boom, off it comes. Cop: Wow you were right. Me: Yeah. He was a really nice guy, but no common sense. Adventure over.....here is the best part. It wasnt the first call I had from Maria today. 20 minutes earlier she called me to say I had to come give her money for gas because when she filled her car she didnt realize she had no cash. Man she worries me. :/ I adore her though!
