Interesting article. I think he fails to get what revolution really is though. The Arab Spring is demonstrating how the more things change the more they stay the same. We tend not to realise things have really changed, until some cause some crisis no longer leads to something once thought inevitable from it. It is open source culture itself, that is the revolution. The capacities of networks of people to identify and solve problems, to manufacture at speed complexity and scale that governments and conventional businesses cannot hope to match, that will sooner or later make nation states and traditional business models increasingly obsolete. A crisis is likely to reveal that, but that will not be the revolution.
