Interesting article to read and I would love to hear your perspective, friends. Have you dealt with photographer jerks? Personally I have had a great show of support, kindness and love in the photo community. Without the photography community my business would not be as successful and fun! If anything I have been bashed by others for my own personal choices (like how I wear my make up, choice to home birth my, if I use a certain term to describe someone or how unsafe I am for posting a photo of my own child in the tub - like I am a terrible mother, etc.). As far as the photographer side - my local community AND those from far and wide have been my biggest advocates and helpers. I really dont think this is a photographer problem - I think this is a social media problem. Its easy to hide behind a computer screen and type negative and finger pointing things. I have found more kindness and love through these photo pages than not. Sure, there is a lot of hatred spewed in comments on FB, via twitter, article comments (never read the comments people, it will make you ill), etc. - BUT that happens a lot less on photography pages. I feel like photography sites are much safer than news sites, entertainment sites, political or religious articles, etc. Sure we all can get defensive at times, but there is not right or wrong way to shoot regarding natural light or flash photography. We are all different and we all create photos our own way. So tell me - do you see a lot of negative nellies in the photo industry or is it a problem of the internet community ? *I dont mean someone who chooses not to share their secrets of success, because I believe that is a choice they have the complete right to make - they worked hard to get there and why dish out info for free all of the time? https://fstoppers/originals/why-i-cant-stand-photography-community-50551
