Interesting comments on this post. Some of us on here remember when 40kph past emergency vehicles came into law many years ago. The finer point of this law was that you only were required to do 40kph while passing a stationary Emergency vehicle with red and blues going, not while driving through a road crash scene with personnel spread over a couple of hundred metres and maybe a rescue helicopter amongst it as well! Our answer was to block the road either end of the scene with a couple of appliances and not give two hoots what the traffic wanted to do, we were to remain safe! Admin Pete.
